WEEE Directive
Waste From Electronic Equipment
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) applies to producers who manufacture and sell electrical and electronic equipment in the European Union, and covers all large and small household appliances, IT equipment, radio and audio equipment, electrical tools and telecommunications equipment. The goal of the WEEE Directive is to reduce the waste arising from electrical and electronic equipment and to improve the environmental performance of all those involved in the lifecycle of this electronic equipment.
Bally is committed to supporting the goals of the WEEE Directive and minimizing the impact that our products and equipment have on the environment. Bally is closely monitoring the development of emerging national laws within the European Union that implement the WEEE Directive. Bally is also taking steps in line with certification and compliance requirements of the WEEE Directive. Bally currently places the WEEE label on its products and equipment indicating that they should be deposited at an appropriate facility to enable recovery and recycling. Bally also provides its own take-back program with contacts within the European Union and the United States. Bally will continue to develop our take-back program and pursue expanded options in connection with national take-back programs within the European Union.
